All my life I’ve seen pictures of one particular street representing Boston to the world. I’ve seen this street on travel guides, touristic pamphlets, magazine articles, and train station advertisements.
Recently Rolan, a couple of our friends, and I took an overnight trip to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. While the area seems to have plenty to offer skiers, we traveled there to enjoy gentle but breathtakingly beautiful hiking and stylish lodge living.
Rolan and I just finalized our plans for Valentine’s Day, electing to take a hike or visit our favorite greenhouse depending on the weather, watch Dirty Dancing (He’s never seen it!), and try the Saturday night prix fixe at Da Vinci in the South End.
Cute, coastal winter can be harder to come by than you might think. Last year, over “spring” break, my boyfriend and I took a road trip from town to town throughout New England.
To be clear, this is not just 10 things to do in downtown Boston, as that would imply you could and should do any and all of these activities whenever you want in whatever order you want.
